Privacy Policy

What we collect

This site is read-only for most visitors — no account, no login, no cookies. The only time we collect any information is when you choose to submit one of the three forms:

• ·Suggest a supplier — supplier name, port, category, and any contact details you provide for the supplier. Your own name and yacht name are optional.
• ·Get featured — your business name, port, what you supply, your contact name, email address, and phone number.
• ·Report outdated info — the supplier name, port, what has changed, and optionally your name.

Why we collect it

Only to review your submission and act on it — adding a listing, updating one, or getting back to you about a featured spot. We don't use it for marketing. We don't sell it. We don't share it with third parties except where required by law.

How it's stored

Submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure cloud database. Access is restricted to the site administrator. Firebase's security is documented at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

No analytics tools, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts are loaded on this site.

Asking us to delete your data

If you submitted a form and would like your information removed, email us at thesailingchefs@gmail.com with a brief description of what you submitted (approximate date and type of form is enough). We'll delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.
